The Heuer Autavia is one of the most iconic models produced by the manufacture. First introduced as a wristwatch in 1962, the word “Autavia” is a combination of “auto” and “aviation.” This reference 73463 features a heavy tonneau-form case associated with the Autavias produced in the 1970s and later in the 1980s. The watch has a gorgeous black on black dial with two registers and a date window, offering an outstanding legibility which explains that this reference was also picked by military forces at the time. But the most exciting part about this watch is the bright orange accents. You just don’t see these every day.

This watch is in very honest condition. The case does not appear to be polished but has some light scratches throughout. The dial is a gorgeous faded black color while the indexes remain bright and vibrant. The bezel itself still clicks when it rotates and the chronograph pushers are still crisp.
